The LIDAR Composite DTM (Digital Terrain Model) is a raster elevation model covering approximately 99% of England at a spatial resolution of 1 meter. The DTM is generated from the last or sole laser pulse returned to the sensor. Surface objects are eliminated from the Digital Surface Model (DSM) through the use of bespoke algorithms and manual data editing, resulting in a terrain model that exclusively represents surface features.
